Irina Zhuravka

Irina has been a part of the Fanselow Lab since 2010. She started out as a Research Assistant, working her way up to Lab Manager. She was concurrently assisting with the running of the Behavioral Testing Core under the Co-Directorship of Dr. Michael Fanselow and Dr. Alcino Silva. She is now a Staff Research Associate, working on various behavioral projects under the direction of Dr. Michael Fanselow as well as continuing to assist with the management and day-to-day activities of running the Behavioral Testing Core (BTC). Her position at the BTC has allowed her to work with a wide array of researchers within and outside of the UCLA community. She specializes in behavioral phenotyping of mice and rats. Outside hobbies include playing and composing music and personal finance.
